BuzzFeed has announced that it will be breaking a $1.3 million advertising deal with the Republican National Committee. Not surprisingly, their decision was sparked by “the tone and substance” of Donald Trump’s campaign. The silly little leftists just can’t handle his mean words.
The nauseatingly liberal BuzzFeed reached an agreement with the RNC back in April, before Trump was the presumptive nominee, but well after anyone with half a brain knew that he was going to stump Cruz. He had already made plenty of controversial statements, and his politically incorrect stances on virtually everything were already established. Why BuzzFeed didn’t have an issue back then is uncertain.
Jonah Peretti, CEO of BuzzFeed, stated, “Earlier today Buzzfeed informed the RNC that we would not accept Trump for President ads and that we would be terminating our agreement with them. The Trump campaign is directly opposed to the freedoms of our employees in the United States and around the world and in some cases, such as his proposed ban on international travel for Muslims, would make it impossible for our employees to do their jobs.”
Peretti went on to say, “We don’t run cigarette ads because they are hazardous to our health … and we won’t accept Trump ads for the exact same reason.” Apparently the leftist media believes that supporting Donald Trump can literally cause cancer. Just when it seemed as though their incompetence had reached an all-time high, they manage to get a little bit dumber.
