The so-called “mainstream media,” rife with Left-wing political ideologues posing as journalists, has been a thorn in Donald Trump’s side since he declared his intention to seek the Republican nomination for president.
Throughout his campaign, Trump was figuratively tarred and feathered by the press at every turn. Because he said some Mexican illegal immigrants were killing and raping Americans, he was labeled a racist; because he pledged to enforce immigration law, as all presidents are supposed to do, he was labeled a bigot; because he made some crude remarks about women, he was labeled a misogynist. He was also characterized as being against the LGBT community … for some reason.
None of these charges are true, mind you. But that didn’t stop the media from repeating them over and over again, like the journo-terrorists they are.
While several of these outlets qualify as top Trump-hating rags, one news network in particular – CNN – has committed particularly egregious acts against candidate, nominee, president-elect and now President Trump.
As such, the Trump administration has taken the unprecedented step of shutting out the network. The White House isn’t sending any of its people or surrogates to appear on network programs, which is effectively “icing them out,” as Politico puts it. “I don’t watch CNN … I don’t like watching fake news,” Trump said during a listening session for Black History Month at the White House.
He recalled a recent phony story involving the White House bust of a beloved African-American figure, though CNN was not the culprit.
“You read all about Dr. Martin Luther King a week ago when somebody said I took the statue out of my office. It turned out that that was fake news. Fake news. The statue is cherished, it’s one of the favorite things in the—and we have some good ones,” Trump said.
That particular fake story began as a mistaken tweet by a Time magazine reporter (a mistake the magazine later defended).
But what CNN did was far worse: The network published a story claiming that Russian intelligence had damaging information about Trump that it would use to undermine U.S. interests, including a deranged allegation about hiring Russian hookers to urinate on a bed President and first lady Obama slept in during a state visit to the Russian capital of Moscow.
Natural News founder/editor Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, dissects the ridiculous and unsubstantiated claims in this podcast:
That’s not all. During the campaign:
— CNN falsely claimed that Trump told his supporters to commit voter fraud by voting multiple times.
“In fact, Trump was lamenting that in some polling places in Colorado, where he was attending a campaign event, void ballots four or five times, meaning they could probably vote four or five times. ‘But we don’t do that,’ Trump also said, which was edited out of the original CNN story.”
— The network used a screenshot from a video game, Fallout 4, to bolster the fake news narrative that “Russia hacked the election” to favor Trump.
“Although the screenshot was only used for a few seconds, CNN’s actions created a groundswell of social media calling out the once ‘trusted’ network for creating yet another batch of fake news.”
— Singer/entertainer, Nancy Sinatra, had to take CNN to task for intentionally lying about something she tweeted out that was directed at the president, Propaganda reported. The network initially claimed “Nancy Sinatra not happy Trump using father’s song at inauguration,” (the song being, My Way.) But Sinatra said that’s not at all what she said. “That’s not true. I never said that. Why do you lie, CNN?” she tweeted.
