Project Veritas continues to expose how liberals are ruining the country with their excellent undercover investigative journalism – and this time they caught an EPA advisor bragging about how the agency is funneling billions of dollars to climate organizations before Trump takes office.
Their latest piece involved Brent Efron, a special advisor who works on implementing Biden’s climate agenda. Their undercover journalist secretly recorded him explaining in great detail how the agency’s employees are panicking over Trump’s win and working hard to pass out money to their pet climate change initiatives before the new administration takes the reins.
He said their goal is to ensure Biden-era climate projects will continue even after Trump takes office, characterizing it as an “insurance policy.”
“We gave them [nonprofits] the money because… it was an insurance policy against Trump winning. Because they aren’t [a government agency], they’re safer from Republicans taking the money away,” he said.
Just how much money is at stake? Efron says they’ve been handing out more than $100 billion worth of grants to various nonprofits thanks to Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act. He added that the agency has been trying to spend money that was earmarked for projects that were originally set up with Kamala Harris as president in mind.
“The thing that we haven’t funded yet are [sic] the local nonprofit program that was going to be an inter-Kamala Harris administration program… so now we’re getting it [funding] out as quick as possible. It’s like two billion at this point, we’ve got most of it out – like 90%,” he said.
He added that they plan to work until the last minute, handing out every taxpayer penny they can before the Trump administration puts an end to their delusion. He said they believe they have until shortly after noon on January 20, at which point he thinks the incoming president will block all grants; they will keep spending the money until then.
Efron said: “Now it’s how to get the money out as fast as possible before they [Trump Administration] come in … it’s like we’re on the Titanic and we’re throwing gold bars off the edge.”
In other words, they are taking the money that Americans worked so hard for and trying to give it all away to leftist organizations before Trump takes office.
Efron even admitted that he’s hoping that he can get a job at one of the nonprofits he has given money to in his role in the future so he can continue profiting off of the climate hustle.
He’s right in thinking his job is at stake; Trump has already picked former New York Congressman Lee Zeldin to helm the EPA. He will carry out Trump’s environment and energy agendas, part of which will entail putting an end to some of Biden’s more ridiculous climate initiatives and possibly reducing millions of dollars in funding linked to the Inflation Reduction Act.
Utah Senator Mike Lee has seen the investigation, and he shared it on X with the caption: “The U.S. government is actively working to undermine the American people. We’ve empowered Washington to the point that it’s become dangerous and destructive. It’s too big, too expensive, and too powerful. We must return to constitutional government.”
One X user commented on Project Veritas’s post with the undercover video: “So the EPA is simply a money laundering agency for Democrats and their fake causes?”
Although Project Veritas spoke to an EPA advisor for this piece, it wouldn’t be surprising if many other government agencies are also doing the same thing ahead of Trump’s inauguration.
